Setup sheet from last weekend @ da beach track, SI, NY

Man that track is da bomb!

I should tried mid roll center but had no time to flickering with washers, also I should have narrow hexes on front and med on rear but car ran good all day regardless.

1 crash while I was leading A main cost me a 1st place, I had to hit that last corner of chicane of the death and my pal Richard P passed me to win who was TQ, I came in 2nd.

between my guys we end up with a TQ, 1st, 2nd place of the main and FASTEST LAP of the day!

Oh! also a BQ and B main 1st place by my boy Young! in Mini class.

Race Type-R at Staen Island this Sunday, also a bumper mod

I been running my xxx-s their last few times but decide to take the machine out there

Tired of bring Tonka to F1 racing sort of thing, had some hard times keeping up with all the modern sedans

also this is final race of the season for the track and want to do better or give 1005 of what I got for one last time at the beach, I will probably change a main chassis, a upper deck and all the wear and tear parts before this year carpet season so few more scuffs or some sand in tranny won't bother me so much.

oh almost forgot

a bumper mod? yeah all I did was drill a hole by lower front shock mounting screw and glue a coffee stir stick in to it, no more bumper removing for a shock maintenance. as you can see it on da image above.

Awesome race day at the beach

Went to Midland beach at Staten Island yesterday, even thought we had some clouds in the morning brave bunch of nuts gather together to put down awesome racing!

2 mains for Mini, 2 mains of 17.5 Touring, 1 Main of VTA and bunch of drifters.

weahter was so good through out the day, then right after all the race over we had flash shower for bout 5 minute under sunshine, then we had a HUGE rainbow on left side of the beach! what a beatiful site that was!!!

for myself I qualified 2nd and finished 2 nd in the A with my XXX-S,.

it is kinda hard to drive this car fast, since weight of mine is 1480Grams compared to 1420-1430 of all this new chassis also equipped with a timing boost ESC's,

I can see clearly newer cars moving quicker on every corner

TQ was my pal Alex V with a Hotbodies Cyclone, A main winner was also a Cyclone! (Jay F, from a long time R/C family)

many told me the Cyclone is da car to drive on asphalt and I guess they were right.

but I'm going to continue drive my XXX-S on the beach as long as I can stay on same lap with other machines.
